American Legion Post 268 provides and presents Police Officer and Firefighter of the Year awards to honor the service, bravery, and dedication of first responders who play critical roles in safeguarding the Sanger community.
Police officers and firefighters risk their lives daily to protect and serve the community. These awards allow Post 268 to recognize and celebrate their outstanding contributions, sacrifices, and commitment.
Through these awards, American Legion Post 268 continues its mission to support those who dedicate their lives to serving and protecting others, fostering unity, and promoting a culture of gratitude and service.
These awards highlight the importance of civic duty, public service, and sacrifice. Recognizing first responders aligns with the American Legion’s mission of promoting patriotism and respect for those who dedicate their lives to serving others.
